STAR Log is first printing company in Italy to purchase the innovative Canon VP I300 printing system.
Take a regular inkjet printer like the one you have on your desk. Now picture one the size of a three-axle lorry that is able to churn out 8700 double-sided A4 printed sheets of paper in an hour and what magically appears before you is a Canon VP I300, a mammoth machine that combines the precision of a heart surgeon with the speed of a 100-meter sprinter.
STAR Log is the first printing company in Italy to purchase this technology and is therefore in the running to become the most advanced and productive digital printing center in the country.
The VP I 300 is equipped with cutting edge technology: not only is it able to print on media up to B3 size, the ColorGrip extension can also be added to it, enabling printing on a variety of media, including offset uncoated and offset coated papers, which are pretreated in such as way as to ensure the uniform distribution of ink droplets during printing.
STAR Log, with its high-productivity black and white and color printing lines and with the acquisition of this new technology, will have a weekly production capacity of over 30,000 publications.
